Guest guest
Well, we went for adjustment number 2 today and things are going great. They showed me Kennedy's head-cicle and that was great to see the changes! They let me take it to show my husband when we go home tomorrow. (we are NOT making the trip in one day today.) I am still concerned about the bossing, but have faith that we will be pleased with the end result. I cannot believe what they can do. I am a little sick when I look at the head-cicle though. It really shows the severity very clearly. How could the first pediatritian not notice that or not be concerned?! The therapist made me feel pretty good today though as we talked a little about what I had tried to do prior to diagnosis and she let me know that, with the undiagnosed tort, repositioning was bound to fail. Makes me feel a little less responsible...a little. I still have bouts of guilt for not getting louder earlier. I guess I always will. Well, there are 5 kids over here right now, better help my sister. Christy - Kennedy DOC band 11/23/06 brachy/plagio/tort Tulsa, OK
Guest guest
Hi Christy, I'm glad things are going so well for Kennedy! It's so great to see those changes when you compare the headsicle! I was sure to bring it into my pediatician who was also unconcerned w/Hannah's headshape. You couldn't deny those results! , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad Cape Cod, Ma > > Well, we went for adjustment number 2 today and things are going > great. Guest guest
Hello Christy My daughter Willow also had torticollis, and we didn't do the repo for long, b/c everytime we tried Willow would scream / cry, and find her way out of whatever. Back onto the flatspot. Please don't feel guilty. I know it's easier said than done, but this is really one of these things that happens. You did not do this to your child. You should be proud of yourself for seeking help, and tx this condition.
