Guest guest
hi everyone - one of my doctors thinks that the cognitive effects i am experiencing are being causes by d-lactic acidosis. when i have gastro upset, ie gas, constipation etc, my brain goes dead. i get dizzy, confused, almost drunk. it can last for days or hours depending on a variety of factors. sometimes it passes (95%) with the passage of gas. does anyone have any thoughts on whether i may be better off abstaining from yogurt for the time being? i am definitely eating it at present, but i know that lactose contributes to d-lactic acidosis and i have no idea whether even the miniscule amount of lactose in the 24 hour yogurt may be contributing to my symptoms. any thoughts would be appreciated. i will probably take a break from it anyhow, but i am just curious nonetheless. all best spencer
