new here...questions

I sent this a few days ago...I don't think it went through.

My DR just diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia and I'm not sure if she is right.

Tell me what you experts think please.

Here are my symptoms; FATIGUE, pain in elbow on left mostly, right knee pain,

tummy

feels upset, constipation, head fog ( just lost my check book, feel like a dope)

take lots of

naps, crave chocolate and have acne at age 44...yea..wrinkles AND acne. Now, I

just found

out I have 2 larger fibroids in my uterus and/or scar tissue from a C-section.

I'm sick of

complaining that i feel like crap. I'm not sure if this is hormone related or

something else.

Some of this could be FMS. I had a lot of different troubles until

my doctor linked them all together. The constipation (could be

associated with irritable bowel syndrome), fatigue (chronic fatigue

syndrome), joint pain, memory issues (aka Fibrofog), upset stomach

(acid reflux, nausea, food sensitivities), until recently, I was a

chocoholic. You can have skin rashes and stuff with FMS also. FMS

encompasses a lot of different diagnoses into one. I had chronic

sinus infections, digestive issues from stomach to bowel, fatigue,

reproductive issues, all over body pain, skin rashes, chemical

sensitivies, allergies, sensitivity to light and sound. Had some

head aches and neck pain. All of which can be associated to FMS.

There are many books that you can read up on. There is " Fibromyalgia

for Dummies. " There's What the Doctors May Not Tell You, by Dr R

St Amand. There's " The First Year - Fibromyalgia: An Essential

Guide for the Newly Diagnosed " by Marek. I just ordered

another one through the library to learn more. It's by Rodger H

Murphree " Treating and Beating Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue

Syndrome. " I like to read up on my health issues. It's a good thing

to do. Let me know how things go.
