Guest guest
My daughter's name is Trina, by the way. She's 19. I am using my computer at home. We are fortunate enough to live only 10 minutes from the hospital where she is at, so my wife and I take turns coming home to check on my other daughter and the animals. Trina is still doing well, her pain is minimal, she has dosed herself with Morphine only 3 times since the surgery. Her little sister was up for a short visit and had Trina in stitches(no pun intended)with her jokes. I felt bad for her: 5 hours after a 4 1/2 hour surgery and laughing out loud! The best medicine they say! She has had a couple of bouts with the nausea, the last coming after getting up the first time to go to the bathroom, but they passed quickly. The nurses are astounded at her seemingly pain-free (or at least pain-tolerable)recovery so far. I sure hope it continues this smoothly. Well I gotta go shower and shave. It's been a really long day and I need to get cleaned up before I go back to spend the night with her. I'll post tomorrow. Everyone have a great eve. and thanks for all your thoughts and prayers....Mark
