Start eating slowly or wind up with a really bad tummy ache Ms Katurah, I am glad you got fluids in you. When you start getting hungry, you are getting better. When I had the virus all those food TV commercials would come on and it would make me want to vomit more. When I got better, I wanted to eat everything but you need to do a little at a time, right? Take care and stay away from greasy foods. Bennie
Guest guest
Yeah, that's the virus I had. I may not have taken my supplements and vitamins but I still took my cymbalta and mscontin. Instead of drinking a lot when I started feeling bad I fasted. Still vomited, but didn't get the diarrhea. I sipped on water or ginger ale. Just a swallow or two every half hour. Guest guest
Have you tried warm 7-up? It always helped me and my family at times like that for the nausea. Also dry toast and bananas for the diarrhea Rosie >Jennette wrote: Instead of drinking a lot when I started feeling bad I fasted. Still vomited, but didn't get the diarrhea. Also dry toast and bananas for the diarrhea All, Ginger Ale seems to be all I can do but as Rosemary says I wait until it warms up and do not like it real cold. Guest guest
the doctor told me flat ginger ale and soft foods for the first 24 hours and work my way up the ladder.I was just glad to be off the doc's back of breaking the contract and had a real good friend come in with me to explain what was going on and why I wound up in the ER and he explained every thing will be dealt with. I was happy to keep him as my doctor. He gave me meds to help with keeping my pills down so I do not go through it again Gentle hugs, Ms.Katurah > Bennie wrote: Ginger Ale seems to be all I can do but as Rosemary says I wait until it warms up and do not like it real cold. Guest guest
So sorry you have been down in the weather. Hope and pray you get the healing you and the rest of us here need right now. This weather sure does not help with our pain though. Gentle hugs, Rosie > MsKaturah wrote: > I am so sorry I have not been myself lately. I have been through hell and back I am on the way back now.
