Hamstring tendinitis is almost gone. My original prescription was for this. My

> Maybe there is rules somewhere that required my discharge, and my prescription

was for my knee. My insurance is Medicare, and the therapy cap did NOT apply to

me. My PT recommended that I find a massage therapist. I need to find a massage

therapist trained in the technique she did that is not intimidated with my

medical history. The PT was evasive when I asked about that.

,

Go to your Doctor and get a new prescription for the pain in your knee, this is

a different diagnosis, different problem. I have had this happen to me and I

had to go back and get the prescription written for my Sacral Illiac Joint

instead of Back. You have you home exercise program, right ? My Physical

therapist was trained in myofascial release and this helped me very much as it

helped with my piriformis syndrome, SI syndrome and Sciatica very much.

You don't go backwards. On the Medicare, a representative told me that. Yes,

there is a cap, but if the Doctor puts in for more because of medical necessity,

they usually approve it.

This is good to know as when I go for my Thyroid Level, the Technician sounds

like a Robot stating, Medicare only pays for three Thyroid tests a year, which

is not true. They pay for more if it is medical necessity and the Doctor

requests it. This is important when they are tittering medications.

I told the technician what Medicare says and that it would be more accurate to

relate the information as it really is as it might worry some people needing

more tests. She could have cared less.

It bothers me when they get like this. Hope you continue to do well, . Let

us know how it goes.
