What did the doctor tell you about H Pylori?

Are you having gastrointestinal (digestive) problems? Curious as to whether you had a blood test or endoscopy.

The information below sounds very whoth reading!!!

544.html+H+Pylori++hives & hl=en --- October the 10th I was put on tetricycline, Pepto Bixmo, and Flagly. After four days I broke out in very bad hives and was told to stop again. I'm concerned that I building antibodies to the antibiotics and eventually nothing will kill the H. pylori.

I had a blood test done by my allergist at my

suggestion. It came back positive. As I have been

reading more and more about H Pylori - I have learned

that about 30% of people in the US harbor the bacteria

in their stomachs and test positive. Some people

never show any signs and live with it forever never

knowing. Others develop ulcers or other conditions

and they find it (like me).

I have been extremely nauseous for the last few months

as well but I thought it was due to the anxiety I have

over the hives. I have been extremely anxious about

my cold urticaria and not taking any anti-anxiety

medication. Of course now that I'm reading everything

about H Pylori - I feel like I have every symptom and

I'm scared that I may have ulcers or something. I

guess it would be nice if it were the cause of my

urticaria and I could get rid of both conditions at

once but the treatment for H Pylori is strong and I am

allergic to some of the medications.

Now I get to see a whole new round of doctors and more

tests and medication. If I thought I was scared

before....
