Guest guest
Mo, Get some of the Natural Calm supplement and trying drinking it right before bed. Start with 1 1/2 tsps for a couple of days, then go to 2 tsps for a couple of days and then use 3 tsps. You mix it in very hot water. Make sure to mix it in a small amount of the hot water first, it fizzes up a lot, and then add the rest of the hot water and drink. I'm betting it solves your palps. Get the rasberry lemon flavor, it's the best one. You can order it from Vitacost or IHerb, the largest container is about $19 U.S. and lasts a couple of months. It's called Gilliam's Natural Calm. As I am in the UK, it would take quie a while to get here. It is magnesium? Could I check in advance that it would work by taking similar amount of magnesium first? thanks for this. It's supposed to be one of the most easily assimilated forms. You can try adding some more magnesium also, you might try adding 200 - 300 mgs a day for a couple of days at a time until you get up to 1000 - 1200 mgs. Hi Linn I am excited by your ideas. I have taken 800 mg Mag. (in two doses) so far today and it is nearly 9 pm here. No running to the loo! So I will take another 400 at bedtime and will report back. Thanks SO much for your input. It works wonderfully to help you sleep. Well I will certainly think about getting it regardless of this experiment working to stop the rapid heart beat. I also did the Wrong Diagnos assessment earlier today and will let you know how that pans out. Mo
Guest guest
Hi again Linn Great!! That's about the only thing that taking too much magnesium will do to you, is give you loose bowels. Is that it? No other likely side-effects? It's like Vit C in that regard. OK I don't have any problems at 1200 mgs though. Two of the doses I take daily are a Cal/Mag combo. I took calcium by itself for many years, advised by my doc, but found out this past year, that's not a good thing to do. Calcium should always be taken with Magnesium. I have been led to believe that they should be taken separately also and that was such a hassle that the only supplemental calcium I take now is in my multi. Is the calcium element more important than just taking in a multi do you think? Mo

I don't take a multi so that's why I take the cal/mag supplement. OK, well that's a relief Linn, one less thing to remember, lol Mo
