I had The Most Awesome Experience this Weekend. I educated, preached, and just plain dominated the crowd...ok in my mind at least...lol. Every year hubby and I work at the Alliance Air Show in Fort Worth as Ticket Attendants and with that job we get in free and get some great perks ie: free stuff !!!. I am a big people watcher and now that I am a member of the Plagio Police you would not believe how many plagio babies there are.

Anyways, as I was going around with my bestest friend in her Golf cart (Perks are Great) we saw a booth for Angel Flight and of course I had to stop. Imagine my joyful surprise when I saw that on his table promenintly (sp?) displayed for all to see was a picture of a beautiful banded baby...WHOOHOOO!!!! I commented on the baby and he seemed surprised to hear I knew what the band was, so I explained to him my daughter had worn one, to make a long story short, by the time I was done I had a small crowd listening and I heard one woman as I was leaving comment to her friend that she thought her niece had tort and plagio and she was going to send her to the net to find more info.

So I (pumped up on excitement now) jop back in the golf cart with my bestest friend and continue down the tarmac when I notice another picture of a banded baby again displayed for all to see, so of course we stopped. This was a booth for Freedom Flight which is much like Angel Flight but mainly in Texas and surrounding states. The man asked if I knew someone who needed their services and I sorta laughed and said OH YEAH !!! So....once again I told 's story and mixed in many of the parents' stories I know have had to travel for treatment and once again I had a small crowd listening. Now the only thing I was missing was :-( . Thank Goodness for pictures....LOL. I had some people ask questions and some even pointed me out to others as they were leaving, (Hope they weren't saying I was funny looking...lol) and one woman asked if I knew of web sites she could visit for more info because she was positive her grandson

has plagio/brachy...well of course she walked away with a ton of info...lol.

Now to top all of this off I got to see Melany and Kody from our playgroup, Kody is DOC banded and is the sweetest thing :-) and I was so happy to see he is doing great with his band and doesn't have much longer.

So enough of my rambling, I just had to tell someone, thanks for listening if you're still reading...lol
