Guest guest
My son was casted today for his molding helmet and it was no big deal. I thought I'd let those of you who will be going through this soon that it wasn't as bad as I expected. They placed 2 knit caps over his head with the face cut out. He kind of looked like Batman. And then they used fiberglass casting material to wrap his head. He didn't like the casting part, but it was over in 3-4 minutes. They let me hold my son on my lap during the whole process and I sang in his ear which I think helped. Anyways, stop worrying about the casting (if you are like I was for the last 2 weeks) since it really is no big deal!

Guest guest
I'm glad to hear the casting appointment went well. It really isn't that bad, and the whole process is over before you know it. Thanks for sharing your stroy. I'm sure it will help alleviate some fears for those who haven't been casted yet.
