I'm happy for her. Also maybe being in control of the vacum makes the

difference? Just a thought. a

It's possible. I've also considered the fact that it doesn't bother her

because she isn't trying to do something else. I had notice with music that

most of the time she was bothered by it was when she wasn't 'actively'

listening to it (ie she was trying to do something else and it was

(possibly) making her lose concentration.)

Tammie,

I'm glad to hear your good news. You seem to have a great attitude

which I'm sure is helping. At what point do you take your PCR test

to see if you are responding? I am getting ready to start tx next

month and will be asking a lot of questions soon.

We got an encouraging letter today from the insurance. They are

going to view Kennedy's band as medically necessary. They still

won't say whether they will or will not cover it - in or out of

network, but it feels encouraging. Anyone else had any experience

with this type of letter?

The in-laws saw Kennedy's band for the first time today. Mother-in-

law didn't cry...it's a good thing.:)

Hope all are well. I gotta get my Christmas decorations up while my

precious baby sleeps!

Hi Christy,

It does sound encouraging. I don't know how they couldn't cover

somethign they have said is a medical necessity! Keep us posted.

This happened to me too and I am just thrilled. I've always had too

much hair on my upper lip. It was always real light, but I ended up

shaving it for years. Then it started coming in dark - yuk - and

instead of shaving I would pluck. I would have to do this every

single

day. Since being on this diet the hairs are growing back much

lighter

and finer and I only " pluck " every few days. LOL Also noticed the

facial fuzz (hair) on my chin and cheeks (that I've developed as I've

gotten older) is much less

also.

I also noticed that I'm not losing as much hair from my head as I

was. I have longish hair abt down to middle of my back. When I

washed it handfuls of hair would come out. Now I've noticed that much

less hair is coming out.

I'm so amazed at all the different improvements from being on this

diet!
