Guest guest
Hi Shaye: Was this inquiry from Pat Ambarosius from Camelot Gift Baskets? I received an inquiry about wholesale from her, but when I told them that I charge for my samples then credit it back to their first order, they weren't all that important. Guest guest
Shaye -- I'm late jumping in on this. If she is NY, call NYS taxation. If it's out of state, get the number of taxation for that particular. Oswego is in the 315 area code. Most numbers there begin with 34 (as in 343,341,342; I used to live there) G > She gave me a number. Now whether or not it's legit, How does anyone really > know?? Guest guest
Shay Boy, that's a tough one. Is this a local business? Did you meet with this women in person or was it thru correspondence or phone? I guess what I would do this time, is go ahead and send the samples but in the future have a little information sheet made up stating about how samples are handled. Of course, I'd have in there that if they took you as their wholesale supplier, that the money they spent for the samples would be credited toward their first purchase. What do you think? M I need opinions... Hey Guys... I have a question.I just got a reply back from a wholesale request of a week ago or so, anywayshe wants to try samples before she buys. She wants 9 samples... I do havesample sizes but my question is... should I just give them to her or chargeher say.. $1.00 per sample. If she had requested one or two I would justgive them but she requested 9 particular ones. What do you all think? Ihave been scammed before with sending free samples and I am a little leeryof being taken advantage of.I need some opinions of what is reasonable to do.Thanks!ShayeThe Soap Shackwww.mysoapshack.comOur members maphttp://.homestead.com/locations.htmlOur Message Boardhttp://www.voy.com/21568/Special Invite for membershttp://soapwerks.com/martinrectangle.htmAll posts to this list are copyrighted by post author. Guest guest
Hi Jen and welcome to the group! Your girls are beautiful! I think you are smart to be on top of this. You are also smart to set a deadline to decide whether or not repo is working for you. If it were me, I would make an apptm't with someone who will give you a Rx for a band, should you decide she needs it (because sometimes these things can take a while). If you don't see good improvement in another month I would go ahead with helmet therapy. TRUST me, it is not as bad as it seems and I don't think you would ever regret. I don't mean to tell you what to do but you will know in your heart what you want to do. You could take this time also to do some research on good, experienced orthotists in your area or a reasonable distance from you. We will be with you every step of the way to help you through it (again, should you decide you want to give it a go). I figured we had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Sue Colin F., 14 mos. Guest guest
Hi Jen. I would have to say in my opinion my daughter S. had les facial asymetry and we went ahead and banded her after we had measurements taken by her Ortho at Cranial Therapies. It was the numbers that prompted us to band, well that and the fact her head was funny lookin. And yes you can always get a second oppinion. I actualy went for a consultation without my Pediatrition knowing because she basicaly told me that would round out and that she didn't beleave in the bands or helmets. Well she got a big fat " HA " when she saw and how her head has improved in less then three weeks time. I would say that your would benefit from a band. The sooner the better is what I think. Keep us posted on little V. , CA mom to S. (10mos.) -Optic Nerve Hypoplasia -Central Hypotonia -Torticollis (95% resolved) -Plagiocephaly DOCbanded 11/18/04 and already rounding. --- In Plagiocephaly , " Jen " <ronandjenvelez@p...> wrote: > > Hi! Guest guest
I think you should get the band, you've said that she is hard to repo and you mentioned tort. My son had a similar shape happening when he was a baby - I did not actually notice it until he was 5 months old but it was milder than V's. He was fairly easy to repo at night and I did this from 5 months to 13 months. He is now 3 YEARS OLD and while he does look just fine - the shape is still mildly uneven, it got better but the headshape does not change a whole lot from say 7 or 8 months on. Without a helmet her head WILL be uneven - I am sure of it. However, I suppose all heads are different and it might round out - but from my experience it won't round out completely. I hope this info. helps and doesn't cause you stress. Jan --- In Plagiocephaly , " Jen " <ronandjenvelez@p...> wrote: > > Hi! Guest guest
Hi Jen, Your girls are adorable! I would say 's head is either at the upper end of mild or moderate. With how her head is now, I would pursue banding her. I would make a second opinon appt with a doctor who you know is band friendly and at least try to get a prescription, and if you see enough progress from repoing than you just won't have to use it. It can take months to get things goign with specialists and insurance and such, so if you get the ball rolling now and do decide to band her you'll be ready.
