Guest guest
, All of the tort moms and research and handouts I have ever seen say no jumpers and limit exercausers and walkers. Hopefully one of the more experienced tort moms will be able to give you some good lower body strengthen moves. I'm thinking just having her stand in your lap or on the floor with support. mom to na DOC Grad Tort Resolved SC www.thefilyaws.com > FIRST : had her ortho appointment at Children's today. Guest guest
Hi Nice to hear that 's head is visibly getting better. Now the jumper is def something you should limit with torticollis baby's, BUT it was her PT that suggested this? What we found helped really really good with Willow's tone was to lay her on a table, and let her legs dangle off. At first she would just hand there. We kind of bounced her legs up, but after awhile she started to pick her legs up. That I guess is the natural response to dangling legs (so our pt at the time). After a few wks of this her tone got better. I did this with every diaper change. Good luck Sandy Willow's mom Torticollis resolved Cranio Germany Grad > FIRST : had her ortho appointment at Children's today. They > decided to wait another few weeks to rescan for progress. Guest guest
Hi , We try standing her up, but she just collapses. Her pediatrician had ordered physical therapy for her lower extremities. But her therapist suggested the jumper. She will now put her feet down(on her toes) to bounce in it. But she still cant hold herself up even with us assisting. I guess I will call hr pediatrician and question this. Thanks. --- In Plagiocephaly , " monicash " <monicash@y...> wrote: > , > All of the tort moms and research and handouts I have ever seen say > no jumpers and limit exercausers and walkers. Guest guest
Hi , Great news about her head looking better! I would have been bummed about them not doing a scan though, so hopefully they'll do it next time. It's gotta be great to really see the progress on a scan as well. I'd love to see a new pic of her when you get one to post. She's just so darn cute! Hannah didn't have tort, so I can't help you out there, sorry. , mom to Hannah, DOCgrad 7/29 Cape Cod, Ma > FIRST : had her ortho appointment at Children's today.
