Do you think you are having panic attacks maybe? If so, an antianxiety

drug might help. Talk to your doc about this possibility. Panic

attacks can feel like your heart is bad, and that you are in mortal

danger.

I feel this way. I suddenly felt like crap this afternoon, possibly

because it's windy.

So I totally get this. I don't have a good explanation. I'm just

telling you I understand.

Gall bladder disease can refer pain to chest back and arms. So can acid reflux in the esophagus. And yes, panic and anxiety can feel like this. Maybe you could ask your doctor about these.

I have had muscle spasms in my chest that go up through my neck so bad I couldn't hold my head up they hurt so bad. This has happened about 3 times in the past 9 weeks, it's an awful feeling like swallowing something and it hurt going down, but these spasms come from my chest and into my neck.

Hi Norene,

I know exactly what you are talking about. I can start off a day in a great mood, not hardly hurting and WHAMO, it hits. About a month ago I was off for a week, docs orders, the pharmacy called and said my scripts were ready. Mind you I can see the pharmacy from my house. I live in a small country town in Indiana. I decided I would go for a walk to go get them. I wasn't half way there and was in so much pain I didn't know if I would make it to the pharmacy and back. Grant you I'm only speaking of 3 blocks to and 3 blocks back... I was terrified half way there, litterally stopped and thought oh my goodness I don't know if I can do this. Well I did make it, but to come home and take a pain killer and lay down. It was awful... I know what it is like to feel not so bad and then all of a sudden the pain be so overwhelming. Oct.8th was my companie's family picnic, I went dressed fairly warm, it was a cold or cool day, very

breezy, temp. was about 62, sun was not out. I was so cold I shivered for 4 hours while there, sat mainly cause I hurt to bad to get up and move and knew I was going to pay dearly for trying to have a good time... Needless to say I have been in a flare since then, 10 days now. It's awful how the body reacts to things that before would have never bothered us at all. You are not alone in any of this, we are all here to give support and info if and when we can.

Hope you feel better soon,

Hello my friends,I am so glad I have you to talk with. You all know what I am goingthrough. Today, it started out "average". Not great, not poor. Do you findthat your body feels ok, then, you suddenly get worse? This scaresme, and I am trying to cope and not let it bother me. When I startaching and hurting in my arm and back or chest, all I can think of ismy heart. My doctor says that my heart is fine. So, I keep tellingmyself this. Today, that area ached so much, and just got worse.Around 2:00 in the afternoon, I had to lie down for a while, and Ijust couldn't get comfortable. I felt like I was coming down with theflu, just so achy. I got up after a couple of hours and took my twolittle dogs outside for a walk. It is COLD outside, and I am learningthat the cold

aggravates my bones. So, when I came in the house aftermy walk, I felt like someone had taken a baseball bat and slugged mein the back with it two or three times. And a sudden painfulheadache, lawdy. So I just tell myself that my doc said my heart isok and this is all part of my illness. Does anyone else haveanything similar to this happening to them? This illness is so hardto deal with, but the more I understand about it the easier it is forme to cope. Thanks all. Hugs, Norene__________________________________________________
