Hello everyone, I went to my doctor's today, and he was just about

ready to take off the splint. But i asked him if it was alright to

do that since he accidently popped off a couple of my brackets

during surgery. So he decided not to, and to wait til tuesday when i

have my dentist appointment to take off the splint and have my

dentist replace those brackets. Recently, i've gotten so fed up from

eating liquids, that i tried to just swallow soft food, stuff that

doesnt need much chewing. I started eating chicken, macaroni and

cheese, french toast, and other soft foods. I was shocked to find

out that i can chew fruit loops, hehehehe... My doctor reassured me

that its impossible that my jaw will fall off from chewing something

soft, since it was held together with plates and screws. I can't

wait to just open my mouth to bite into a big juicy hamburger, or

slice of pizza. Most of my swelling has gone down, and i'll post

some more recent pictures of me. I just wanted to share with

everyone where i'm at right now in my journey to a better bite. And

to tell everyone whos having a tough time with recovery, to just

hang in there, and it'll go by faster than u think!
