Pain stimulators/pain pumps

I used to work in pain management, and I never saw a pain pump used for RSD. We

did use a lot of implantable spinal stimulators. There is no medication in a

stimulator, but when it is placed in the correct spot, it offers a massaging

stim to the extremity affected by RSD. Many of our patients received relief from

this.

Best wishes

I'm very interested in learning more about the pain pump implant to help with

the chronic pain associated with RSD. Could you please tell me more about how

this works.

I had a pain pump after my last foot surgery that was awesome in

helping to control the post-surgery pain along with my usual RSD medications

(Percocet and Gabapentin). Is this pain pump you're talking about basically the

same thing? The pain pump only lasted 4 days to get me through the worst of the

post-surgical pain.
