Thanks Kathleen. I already miss my fish. I have only had him (or her)

for 6 months now but I did get attached to it. I come home and turn on

the light and feed it every night before I do anything else. Not

anymore. This weekend I will go buy a new Beta because it just doesn't

feel the same here without a beautiful Beta swimming in the tank. My

last one last over 3 years and I'm not kidding with you! It also

survived 3 falls and a 5 minute lost on the floor board experience. This

one was just " sick " I guess. I'll never know what really killed it but

I'm glad it died this soon because I think it was suffering the last few

days.

As for the bread....I just don't like wheat bread. I only like white

bread and believe me I have tried MANY different types of bread. I will

just stick to eating less of the white bread and I have been doing

better on that lately. I am NOT going to pay 3.00 for a loaf of bread.

Good old Kroger white bread for 99 cents is more my speed! LOL! And I

actually do like the heels I was just disappointed that there was only

two pieces left. LOL! That's probably a good thing for my diet though

that's for sure.

Take care! GEORGE :)

,

I'm sorry to hear about Emmett. That would have certainly put a

damper on my apetite also. Or I may have eaten that much more on

account of emotions. I've done that in the past, but I'm making great

progress on emotional eating since I've come back to TOPS.

I just bought a loaf of whole wheat bread last night. I'm trying to give

up the other breads since they're digested so quickly and leave you

feeling hungry again soon. The whole wheat bread did stay with me

longer than the " wheat " bread I usually eat. That's basically white

bread with caramel color added to make you think you're eating

something healthy. I'm gonna try to stay with my new resolution to

eat only whole wheat or whole grain breads.

Next time you have only one piece of bread and a heel, make your

sandwich by putting the heel portion to the inside of your sandwich.

You probably won't even notice it is a heel. That's especially true

with a gooey sandwich like tuna. You may even feel proud of

yourself for being thrifty.
