No you dont suck. You know everyone who has fibromyalgia is at a

different level of health so of course there will be some who can do

more than others. The goal here isnt to compete its to reach a better

level of health so that our symptoms dont rule our lives. We will

probably never be the people we used to be but maybe we will be a

new self who accepts that our lives are different and that its ok to

be who we are now.

Some days are good and others are really bad, but the best we can do

is try and figure out ways to have more good days. So we read and make

suggestions and even lend an ear for those who are having really hard

times. We have all been where you are. deb

First I think you need to stop comparing yourself to

others,,,,

You do exactly what you can do and what you need to do.

We all have bad days and good days,

I have days when i apologize to my daughter (with whom I

live)

for not helping her more on that day. She always ells me that

my

just being here with her to give her back up is enough.

Many children do not even have a mother-- so please

just be who and what you can be on a day to day basis.

Gentle hugs

Meg

I read these posts and instead of

utter failure.

I have the myriad of illnesses, but I can't do what half of these

people in this group do. :(

I have six children, four at home, one that doesn't live with me

but

is pregnant with my first grandchild and has chronic asthma and

has

been very ill the last few months.......is that enough?

Perhaps I need to question why what I do, isn't quite enough.

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on

the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always

check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given

along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just

dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls

don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying

to make that situation better.

3. To unsubscribe the e-mail is:

Fibromyalgia_Support_Group-unsubscribe

4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad

at the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially

take something another member says the wrong way. And that

includes the things that one member may find funny (even if it's

laughing at fibro itself) even though we who deal with illness whether

one such as fibro or multiple illnesses try to keep a sense of

humor.

5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad

day pls let us know so that we can do our best to offer our

support.

Have a nice day everyone.
