Guest guest
Thank you everyone for the welcome. Glad to be here. I have not paid enough attention myself between smoking & pain (although I have noticed some), but I have definitely noticed the huge impact it has on my fatigue levels. My partner is allergic, so when he visits me and I stop for awhile my energy goes way up. After a few weeks, I feel much more able. But when I start up again, I can literally feel the energy draining from me, physically and mentally. He's moving here in the next month, so I will get my chance to quit for good hopefully. The way my doctor put it, is that CFS (one of my illnesses) already causes a lack of oxygen to the muscles, so smoking makes it that much worse. Peace, Jen. > Jan wrote: > Thanks for that info Kaylene. I was wondering if you have a website or where I can get more info on these scientific studies about pain smoking. I hear similar tests quoted often but have yet to see actual evidence. Thanks!
