Hi ,

I don't know if I mentioned in my last post that we do go to Arizona

in the winter. Honestly, though, my fibromyalgia is not any better

in the warmer climate. I'm not stressed here in Iowa or there but

the fibromyalgia hangs with me no matter where I go. Now, I DO have

unexplained periods where the pain is lessened. Those times, I

wonder what I was complaining about... the pain forgotten - I go

about my life thanking God it is gone...Sometimes I'll go a few days

without medication... but then comes a flare up. The pain is

nagging... to the point of nausea.

I was talking to a couple of beautiful women in their 70's and

80's. They were talking about all the things they were doing. I

asked them how they did it... I get so tired. I just can't keep up

with them. They looked at me like I was an ET.

Don't you wish there would be a break through? I'm considering

Neurontin but I have reservations. What medication are you on?

If we didn't have these pets to love, and to love us back, we'd sure be crying all the time, heh?

This is my princess, Willow.

What a beautiful dog! Willow looks so sweet, those

eyes are so beautiful. My husband and I have 2 cats.

They are our kids. They do make us happy and fill our

hearts with love, don't they?

Ikdoty,

Definately see your doctor, and you may want to get

" Fibromyalgia for Dummies " . It is a very impressive

book, and it may answer some of your questions. It is

important to see your doctor, too, though, because

they have had many years of training and can apply

their knowledge to help you. You may even want to

share the book with your doctor- it is that good!

Aradia,

A book I have found to be most useful over the years is "Fibromyalgia & Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndrome" by Devin Starlanyl, M.D. & Ellen Copeland, M.S.,M.A. I do have an order in for "Fibromyalgia for Dummies," but truthfully, I'm not sure how receptive my doctor would be if I handed it to him! VBG (He might think he's the dummy??? -- which I think most are when it comes to this syndrome).
