Guest guest
Dear Everyone I love this group, the combination of so much knowledge, sharing our experiences and the enormous support and humour. However, I cannot keep up with the e-mails - I know this is a silly question, but I don't know what to do. If I don't read all the e-mails I feel as though I am missing out. However I cannot physically and mentally sit up and read all the mails, each and every one of them is important. Any suggestions? love Caroline (UK)
Guest guest
Hi Caroline, you could set your mail preferences to " no mail " and then just go to the website and read them online. That way, you can choose to just follow certain threads. Guest guest
I have mine set to " no mail " and have the site bookmarked---as I do all my groups....after going to the site, I click on " messages " on the left hand column...then I click on " expand messages " on the upper left area of the messages that show up.....then you just read the entire list.....very fast and simple.....if you want to reply to anything you just click on that message's subject line and only that message comes on the screen and you click " reply " ....after sending it, go " back " to reading the expanded messages.....when finished, be sure to click on last message that you read and you will always know where you left off as its color will be different from the newer ones.......sue ~~~~~~~~~~~ --- In NaturalThyroidHormones , carolinelever@a... Guest guest
Go to no emails and read the posts online. That's what I do. It's easy to just click NEXT when you are ready to move on. Guest guest
Caroline.. don't feel bad about missing any.. there are a lot... if you need to be aware of your time... start by reading the subject lines first... qualify if the topic is something of interest to you and read those first.... then, if time permits... go back and start reading the others... No one will feel slighted if you miss some.. one of the reason we have to repost is that some are missed.. and, of course, Yahoo loses some to cyber space.... Read what you can... keep as current as your time will allow... It would beat the alternative... not being able to read any at all.... and a reminder to everyone, for the benefit of everyone... try to remember to change subject lines to reflect the content of the post/reply... ..... not stepping on your toes Janie, our group leader... just trying to help.... I know that if something of major importance to all were to come up... you'd post as a special announcement.. and then everyone would be aware of that.....
