My ex husband was 6'4 ft tall and weighed 156 before Prednisone, with prednisone, 195 and he could carry the weight. Helena, I wonder if nowadays you could take that once a month injection (Boniva ) Patty Duke does the commericals and then it might reverse the effects of osteoporis ? I have to watch my step also as they have told me I could just step off a curb and cause my sacral illiac joint to misaligh. You really have to come up with creative ways to do things we used to take for granted. I have scooted boxes inches at a time with my feet because I dare not lift a box. My husband reminds me of my life years ago when I would redecorate the house and furniture would be moved around and he couldn't figure out how. I used to move the desks, beds, cabinents, armoires by placing a blanket underneath them and then pulling it around. Certainly something I wouold not dream of doing now and I broke thoracic 9 without knowing it.
