Guest guest Posted July 16, 2002 Report Share Posted July 16, 2002 I saw the surgeon today for a follow-up. He said I was healing nicely. He took off my nose splint..finally! He wanted me to put on another band for my front teeth, but other than that, no changes. I actually feel great today! No pain (only at night). There is still a lot of swelling and numbness, but it is slowly healing. This new bite feels sooo weird!! I can here my teeth hit each other when i bite...wow!! It's definitely gonna take awhile to get used to, but it's worth it. To everyone who's gonna have oral surgery...it's worth it!!!! THe third and fourth day were the hardest for me, but now it's getting a lot easier! I still can't believe I had surgery last Wed.!
