Good Morning, ! I am not sure about Dr Levin being out but everything to

do with the surgery is over quick and well worth it. I am already getting

nervous about the c-section(I have had 2 before) but I know I will get through

everything because the outcome is WELL worth the process.

Does anyone know if Dr. Levin is out of the office this week? I

thought I saw someone post that recently. I sent him an email and I

don't want to become obsessed checking for a response if he is out.

Does anyone know what herbs my DH can take to help his " little

guys " ? He has been taking Maca and Saw Palmetto but it seems that

there have been other things mentioned. , if you're feeling

up to it I am sure you have the answers :-) Are there any women here

who's DH had a problem with his SA? If so what did he do to correct

it? Are there prescription medications for that or just herbal

remedies?

Also, my TCOYF software told me I O'd on Sunday!! I think Dr. Levin

will still put me on Clomid since that is the first time I O'd on my

own in months. Well my TR is scheduled for 25 days from now...is it

too early to get nervous?? I HATE needles and I am dreading the

IV!!

LOL I know what you mean,,I am one of the BIGGEST chickens when it comes to

pain!It probably didn't help when I had a lapo done in & the Rn who put in my

IV ...you guessed it...She put it in my muscles!! Talk about crying..they

My first one was over 10 lbs so they wouldn't even think about me delivering her

vaginally. My second one was almost 9 lbs but they took her c-section 2 weeks

early because of her size. Going to be interesting to see how much this one

weighs. I am getting better with the needles but I have had problems with the

epideral in the past(my spine is curved a bit) but the last time, they had a

really good anastesialogist do it and it wasn't too bad. I am hoping with that

in my record, they will not send in an intern to do it! LOL

The nurse that did the IV for the TR was wonderful! I didn't feel stressed at

all... a bit nervous but that is normal. I have had the numbing meds before the

IV too and I loved them! LOL This baby is measuring at least 2 weeks larger

than he/she is supposed to be. I will find out on Feb. 5th at my next

Ultrasound how big he/she is already. I am guessing by that time the weight

will be close to 6-7 pounds.... and that will be 3 1/2 weeks before the

c-section and 5 1/2 weeks before my actual due date.

We are setting the date at my next appointment but as of now, it is looking like

Feb 28th. You should be home rested up by then.

I've had 3 c-sections and with this baby will be a fourth.

everything is well worth the outcome. I agree totally.

I was threatened with a C-section with my first one because they

thought he was over 10 lbs. but turned out he was only 9lbs 5 oz. so

they let me deliver vaginally. I was OK with the needle for the

epidural but I freaked out with the IV needle...I think it is because

I can see it!

LOL! I know how that is, I swear everytime they send an intern to do

my IV. My veins " roll " so they have NEVER gotten it in in one try.

I have been poked as many as 7 times and as few as 3 but never ever

just once. How is the TR nurse with the IV's? Do they cater to

cowards like me? I had one anesthesiologist spray my arm with

something that numbed it before he did it...boy I loved him for

that!! lol. Best wishes on your upcoming epidural. By the way have

they said if this baby is " large " or not? My second one was taken 2

weeks early so I didn't have another 9 lb baby, he was 8lbs 3oz.

I had my first dd in a military hospital overseas and they had an intern " try "

and do the epidural. Let's just say.. it took them 40 minutes to do the

epidural and 40 minutes to do the c-section. I was NOT a happy camper. They

finally had a real dr do it and they got it first time. With my second dd, she

was born in a " civilian " hospital and it was a 2 second process and not painful

at all. Thank goodness!

When I got PG with this one, I actually thought about them knocking me out(cause

I was afraid of the epidural) but I want to be awake to hear my baby's first

cry. I will tough it out!!

I hate needles. I tend to pass out. My DD Kim is so scared of

needles she has panick attacks that cause seizures. I can't spell

what they are called. But, it's scary. So don't feel all alone with

the needle phobia. It's shared by many. I'll come hold your hand.

LOL!!!

I don't dialate during labor so I have to have C-sections. But my dd

Kim weighed 9 lbs 1oz and 21 1/2 inches long. DD Katey was 10lbs 15

1/2oz and 22 1/4 inches long and my DS was 10lbs 15.2oz and was 21

inches long. Thank Goodness for C-sections. These kids were out

partying the night they were born. LOL!!!

OH , tell me about the intern doing it. With Kim I had one

do it and he scraped a bone. I jumped and he said, I wish you hadn't

done that. I looked at him and said, " FUnny I was thinking the same

thing " . If he hadn't gotten it on the third try I was asking for

someone else. Makes ya very leary of some in the medical profession

huh?

Naaaaaaaaa more to worry the smaller they are sis ! Forrest was 7 lb 11 oz then

Dakota was 6 lb 12 oz and poooooor baby Ashton 5 lb 13 oz (born on wed when we

left hospital on Fri he was down to 5 lb 5 oz ) Imagine finding the clothes and

diapers ( Ash had preemie stuff ) and the health problems that could occur

especially with Ash !
