Guest guest
Network Blitz Hi again, Hoping some of you can help! Because of the results of my cardiac testing ( some mentioned in previous post, plus others), I've been told that it's " imperative " that I get a minimum of 1 hour cardio exercise, three times a week or risk a heart attack in the near future. I signed up with a health club yesterday and will get my 1hour free session with the trainer sometime soon to derive a personal fitness program. Ha! I was fit 3 years ago before my thyroid levels dropped and I had a surgery which I think helped to trash my adrenals (only about stage 3-4). I've been your basic couch potato since, and am now overweight and out of shape - it was a real joy (yeah, right) trying to find some workout clothes that didn't look seriously scarry! I'm on 20mg HC and 3 1/2 gr Armour, but still need to optimize the Armour. Obviously, I need to " go slow " with this work out program idea, but I don't really know what going slow means in practical terms ... and I doubt even a qualified trainer will know much about Adrenal Fatigue! I also don't know if stress dosing will be necessary - prior? During? After? I'm hoping those of you attempting exercise programs will share your experiences! I'm feeling like a frightened ninny .... Thanks! Liz
