Guest guest
Hi & Welcome! My name is jen too and I love the Wesley, we almost named that! We banded at 6 months because his brachy wasnt' improving. However, I feel that if my ped. had more strongly told me to repo, things may have been different! Don't let his head touch the flat side at all and check out the repo folder. Good luck! jenn & in NJ doc banded Aug. 13 > > Hello, my name is . My son, Wesley Jr. was born 6/6/04 at > > 35 weeks. Guest guest
Hi ! Welcome to the group!! Is Wesley, Jr. having PT for his neck tilt? There are many excercises out there that can help! I would check with your Ped. We waited to see if our son, Jack's, head would correct itself after he could sit up and it did not. If your Ped isn't very educated on Plagio, I would suggest getting a refferal to a neurosurgeon - they are much more aware of Plagio and it's treatments. I hope this helps and good luck!!!!! Guest guest
Hi , Let's see, Wesley would be a little over 3 months then? You are at a great age to reposition him. Have you looked in our FILES section for repo tips? Tummy time is very important, I'm sure if he has tort that he doesn't like it but be persistant. Getting down on the floor in front of him at his level can help. The group is here to help in any way we can. What area do you live in? Natasha Atlanta, GA > Hello, my name is . Guest guest
Welcome I am so glad you found this group!!! That is great that you are so aware of this now. Wesley could benefit greatly from repo'ing! I hope that you can avoid the helmet, but it is not as bad as it seems. Do the best you can and we will be here for you if you need us.
