Guest guest
Today I saw a chiropractor that my new MD referred me to for NST. She says I am not using my B vitamins well, and the NST is supposed to help with this. I guess the technique helps put the body in balance. I am not sure, as I haven't read much about it yet. Anyway, today, for the first time in the 6 weeks I have been on HC, I nearly forgot ALL my doses (except my first one). I never forget ANY doses, because my body is always telling me before it is time that it needs it! I even skipped my last dose of 2.5 mg, because I just didn't need it. My 3rd dose clearly seemed too high, at 5 mg. It might be coincidence, but I thought this was really something! I am going once a week until who knows when for this therapy. She said their office has found it very helpful for people with adrenal/thyroid problems. It hasn't done anything for fatigue yet. In fact, I have been more tired, but I started a product called Cell Food on Tuesday, per new MD's request. It helps with detox, and that is probably what I am experiencing. -Olif

Guest guest
" What is NST? " My doctor pointed me here: http://www.mercola.com/nst/explain.htm for a good explanation. Surprisingly, it was covered by insurance too! -Olif
Guest guest
Olif, This is great! And especially great that your insurance covers it! I have had a lot of benefit from " energetic therapies " and body work over the years for adrenal and thyroid support, etc. I think to the extent that problems are caused by blocked energy pathways, these methods can help. It may or may not do all you need long-term, but it's good to explore what this type of work can do for you. From what I understand of energy work, when energy pathways are blocked long enough, tissue damage happens and then unblocking the energy pathways may not help as much. So maybe you are catching your problems when they can still be corrected with energy work. I wish you all the best with this! -- > > Today I saw a chiropractor that my new MD referred me to for NST. Guest guest
Great news Olif! I've often wondered if the fact that I was getting massages every week or two was the only thing holding me together my last year of work. It seemed after I stopped getting them things really got worse for me. It wasn't NST specifically, but maybe it was helping. " I wouldn't be surprised. It is definitely doing something for me! I have to make a separate post though! -Olif
