Guest guest
I cannot believe that no one was able to help you over there. That is too bad. I hope you can get a few before your hearing. Now, is the in the DOC band B & A section? That photo is dated 8/18/04 but your Prince finished on 9/7 so what gives? I really want to see him. Guest guest
, In the Links section of this site, under the Plagicephaly Studices and Research folder, you can find a paper published by researchers from Cranial Tech called: Treatment of the " older " infant with plagiocephaly. In that paper there is a picture comparing a CT of girl diagnosed with plagiocephaly while she was an infant, with a CT of the same child when she is older (perhaps 3 or 4) - showing that the deformity was maintained. Its kind of a painful image to look at since it is noted that the girl did not receive helmet treatment due to financial limitations. It does, however establish the case that after a certain age only intervention with a helmet can help - so perhaps you could use that paper for your appeal. Best Wishes with your case, -, mom to who was banded in 2003 > I posted on the Olderplag group but no responses. Guest guest
Hi , Go to the plagio kids section/ B/Untreated Plagio to see his older brother Ethan. was treated w/a DOCband, Ethan was not, and you can see Ethan's plagio )forehead bossing and ear misalignment) in the picture that was taken when he was over 2. Hope that helps! , mom to Hannah (20mos), DOCgrad 7/29 Cape Cod, Ma --- In Plagiocephaly , " tortibaby " <sugrill@j...> wrote: > I posted on the Olderplag group but no responses.
