More on difficult PA

A 34-year-old female is here for followup visit on questionable goiter and

hormone insufficiency. She had a s/l *compara*, which shows a cholesterol of 221

with very *low density line of protein is not highly normal with triglycerides

of 259.* Anybody know what he is trying to say here?

My best guesses:

*compara* = chem panel

with low density lipoprotein....the rest I'm not sure about, because that's an

above-normal value

I agree with , except you don't have to leave out the word " very. "

There is VLDL, very low density lipoprotein.

I think he might be saying that either the cholesterol or VLDL level (since

in this case 'very low' doesn't refer to the test value but the density of

the lipids) isn't higher than might be expected with such a high trig

value. Make sense to you?
