You all are too funny especially " yawn " and let's return to the Wonderful

World of Tumors " and NF2ers reality. So true and sooooo unfortunate. But as

we address each other's experiences and knowledge and medical finds, we just

may get some much needed help or shed some light on the medical professionals

endeavor to help.

So let's just hope and send our positive energies into the universe based on

whatever philosophy floats your boat. Some people call this creative imaging

and some other fancy psyche terms. But somehow it must work.

I agree! If you want to talk religious philosophies take it to a private

chat room. Or join a religious Yahoo Groups site. I've got enough to talk

I would agree with Pete; I enjoy the discussion; and when you come right

down to it, when the subject is the sports teams, etc., I just hit the

delete key; but I don't feel people should " not be talking baseball on a

support group " etc. I think that is what makes this board interesting, is

the subjects are diverse. And if you are not interested, just do what I do

on the baseball ones--no biggie. Marie

I think that spirituality has very much to do with NF2.

Life is scary, and NF2 makes it 1000x scarier. Spirituality is a light in the dark room.

as humans, we know we are going to die.

As humans with NF2, an exclimation point is added to the end of that.

I look forward to all of your post. And I agree with all of you that the

e mail should remain open to any and all members and any and all

subjects. I don't mind a bible passage or a religious reference. In fact

I was raised for a couple of years by a minister and his family after my

mother died of NF2 surgery, until my father got his act together and

" collected " my 4 brothers and me, to try and have a family again. And

by the way I also have three uncles that are ministers, one in Texas, one

in Ohio, and one in Nebraska. So I've spent more then my fair share of

time in church. I believe and will continue to believe in God. BUT I will

not push my beliefs on others. Sorry, I'm not usually a raving mad man.

I just like to explain where I'm coming from.

On the subject of sports - I'm new here but from what I've seen NOTHING

discussed here even comes close to what is being posted on one's beliefs.

I simple thought for the benefit of others it would be the polite and

proper then to take it to a private chat room or personal e mail.

I'm done talking about the subject. I hope I'm done reading about it too.

But I also know I'm not God, nor the only one on this site nor am I the

boss.

I'm finished.

Well there is an ALDA meeting in Newport, RI the first of November and there

will be some of us there. There will probably be a repeat in Las Vegas or

that area about March, altho plans are not definite yet. marie

Sorry folks one more before I keep reading and to note, before you go on, I may offend ) Just wanted to say the crew is a place for support we all know it. It is NOT a place for discussion on religion. I myself am a little...not offended, but we all have different beliefs. Like I said in the post I just made, private discussion is more than welcomed. I know there are a lot of religious ppl on the crew. So what ever your beliefs are that get you thru life, stick with em please by all means. What I'm getting at is, forwards conataining explicit religious views may not be such a good idea to post here. There is a good chance for hurt feelings in some way even if you may not intend or even think that is possible. I don't like sending any kind of signals saying you shouldn't post, but just be aware that not all of us are christians, muslims, jews, 7th day addventists, babptists WHATEVER ) I hope you all know what I'm getting at. Those tear jerker forwards are always a great thing from time to time, I just don't think this is the place for spiritiual discussion of some extent, is all.There are plenty of other ways and places to do that. PS The other reason I posted this is just bc I've actually seen some hot "fights" about religous beliefs I don't want that to happen again here, this is the NF2Crew, not where or who is god crew. Love you all!
