Guest guest
I'm absolutely astonished. I didn't realise so many people had RSD. I was diagnosed quite a few years ago, and my hand is now wasted and damaged beyond repair. I don't suppose it helps much either that I fell out of my back door four months ago, and broke my left hip in two, and also broke my wrist, involving a crush injury - or, as my lovely consultant says cheerfully 'you mashed it!'. I did, too. The wrist is now malformed and ugly, and the whole of my arm hurts all the time. The hip is bearable at times, and at others I find myself chewing the furniture. i also have arthritis, and have had for many years now, and it ain't getting any easier to bear. My doctor flatly refuses to send me to a rheumatologist, as he says I do not show the rheumatoid factor in my blood. So I make do and limp by on painkillers, and eating as healthily as I can. Gosh, but you are a lot of very brave people! Sama
