Jocelyn,

Yes, my daughter rec'd her banding treatment in the Dallas

Cranial Tech clinic. After all the rukus I made, I'm sure they

still remember me. lol We were referred to a Cranial Facial

Surgeon. There we met with a team of Dr's. A neuro visited with us

and evaluated her motor skills and reflexes. I think just to make

sure there wasn't more to the headshape. There are some that have

been referred to Plastic surgeons for a evaluation. I think it kind

of depends on the ped as to where they want you to go. I would

suggest you call the local Childrens hospital there in Austin. I'm

sorry, the name of the hospital slips my mind, I didn't have any

children when I lived there. Do you actually live in Austin or in

the out skirts? I do know that Waco dr's are referring patients to

either Cooks Childrens in Ft. Worth or Childrens in Dallas for this

deformity.

You will see, there are several of us Texans here, most if not all

are currently in the Dallas area. Although, since I have been a

member, we have had several from the Houston area, and 1 or so from

Waco. I don't recall a Austinite though. You're the first! I hope

I am able to help you find a dr to diagnose this.
