Guest guest
My daughter (Trina) is still doing great! She had a good first night home, the pain being no problem. She didn't even need to take any pain meds. at all through the night. She slept in a semi-upright position in my recliner. Her bands had all popped off (well, all but one) and I think it was the laughing episode in the hospital that did it! Her plate shifted a bit in her mouth, so the Dr. had her come in this morning to get re-banded and the plate straightened up. They (my wife and her)just called from her cell phone and said that while they were in town at the Dr.'s office, they might just as well go to Wall-Mart to pick a few things up. A 5 hour surgery can't keep good women from shopping 40 hours later! So....overall, she's doing most awesome! Those of you with dates forthcoming, this isn't nearly as tough as we feared. 3rd day into it and all's well!
Guest guest
Bravo! You must have one heck of a daughter. I'm not talking about the no pain meds right now (although that is wonderful). I'm talking about braving Walmart so soon after surgery!! I didn't do that til 10 days & I went protesting the whole way! Glad things are going so well for her.
