Guest guest
Hi Andi!~ I was inquiring about you just recently. I had asked Sharon if she had heard from you. It's nice to see you back with us. And I'm glad you have yourself a new computer. Don't you just hate it when the 'puter goes and you lose touch? Happens to me all the time. Poor Dino has almost gone to that junkyard a couple of times, but he's a fighter. Great news about the disability! I am so happy for you. I'm still working on mine. It's going to be a long drawn out process. I'm starting from scratch. Going to Dr's. and getting retested for some things that may or may not be MS related, but debilitating just the same. Hope you get to stick around awhile. We've all missed you. You sound like you are doing well, and sounding chipper. As well you should be, you are absolutely being blessed. Love and blessings... Val wrote: I'm re-introducing myself to the group, as I've been away for a few months (my old computer died and I've finally been able to afford to get a new one!! woo hoo!!). My name is (Andi Jo) and I'm from Nebraska. I've been married for 5 years (just celebrated Jan. 17th) but we have been together since our freshmen year of college, 12 1/2 years ago. We had 2 cats and 1 dog and are now 1 cat, Olivia Josaphine 12 years, and 1 dog, Quincy Jon 1 year (born Xmas day..awwww..). Our other cat, Oliver , 2 years was given to my husband's twin brother so he's fat and happy a few blocks away . I was diagnosed on April Fools Day 06 with RR MS my symptoms include (but are not limited too!!) right sided numbness, weakness, depression, fatigue, fatigue (yeah I said that twice--it bears repeating), twitching, etc. Recently I've found out that I may have had a small "bout" of optic nueritis (possibly as it's the only answer right now to why I'm experiencing my vision problems) a few months ago that might have damaged some nerves in my eyes, causing a slight, but very annoying problem with my peripheral vision and focus. If anyone remembers me I was the lady who split her pants while doing tae-bo and I have the mental scars to prove the emotional trauma the embarrassment caused me...and nope they don't show up on the MRI's...LOL. The last time I posted, I was waiting on disability, which finally came thru..yayy...we won the battle but not the war. I still fight everyday with myself to take my meds and if it weren't for my husband I prolly wouldn't take them sometimes at all...BUT..I've kept this group in my mind and I'm so glad to be back here, so if anyone remembers me big HUGS...if not still big HUGSS!! I'm goofy like that..sorry . Hope to hear from someone soon! Euphemisms are unpleasant truths wearing diplomatic cologne. ~Quentin Crisp~ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Hi Val!! I remember you some!!! You'll have to refresh my mind a little, married? kids? If anyone wants to let me know who they are again that'd be great!! This weekend is going to busy for me, my 10 yr old neice is spending the night, a friend from Omaha is coming to visit and my husband plays basketball on Sundays. I love the weekends because it's my time with family, but it takes so much out of me! I usually spend Monday and Tuesday recovering but I think it's worth it! Guest guest
Hi Andi~ I'm the one who's married to a cop that once lived in Omaha. I had asked you a question regarding the small town nearby. I don't remember now what it was though. LOL short term memory...Gone. Give me a couple of years, it may come back to me. Between us, hubby and I have 11 kids and 14 grandies. We live in North Carolina. (Hopefully, a temporary situation). If there's anything else you need to be reminded of let me know. My mind is drawing a blank right now. Love and blessings... Val wrote: Hi Val!!I remember you some!!! You'll have to refresh my mind a little, married? kids?
