Guest guest
good girl jacquie!! i like this plan! sounds like it is just what the doctor ordered. michelle OT - plans vs real life Today's plan: Attend meeting at school and sign up for a volunteer position. Drop money off at Chamber of Commerce for craft sale. Do laundry. Work on craft sale inventory. Real life: Beg off meeting in croaky voice. Go home and drink peppermint tea and try to bring fever down. Ignore laundry (too dizzy with snot to go down to basement) Stare at craft sale inventory because it's on the coffee table in front of the TV, which I'll be watching ALL DAY. <sigh> Jacquie

Guest guest
We are all coming down with " the creeping crud " too. Hoarseness, sore throat, fever, etc. Real life this week is going to turn into bed life and " house-becomes-a-wreck " life. I just hope we can all get past it in time for Jake's appointments next week. Hope you're better soon! ~ Karin The Hunny Family wrote: > > Today's plan: > > Attend meeting at school and sign up for a volunteer position. > > Drop money off at Chamber of Commerce for craft sale. > > Do laundry. > > Work on craft sale inventory. > > > > Real life: > > Beg off meeting in croaky voice. > > Go home and drink peppermint tea and try to bring fever down. > > Ignore laundry (too dizzy with snot to go down to basement) > > Stare at craft sale inventory because it's on the coffee table in front > of the TV, which I'll be watching ALL DAY. > > > <sigh> > > Jacquie > > > >

Guest guest
Ahhhhh... sounds like me.... (except for the craft stuff) Damn, what the hell is going around? Guest guest
> Damn, what the hell is going around? I don't know, but we've got it too. Snotty noses, fevers, crankiness, sleeping all day - and I'm not just talking about the kids. went to bed at 6 last night. He woke up at 11 long enough to get a dose of Clonidine (my hero!) and wait for that to kick in. He slept past 8 this morning. Gabe, otoh, was up till midnight & then nursed all night long. It didn't bother me too much, I think because I took one of those Emer'gen C things too late in the afternoon. If I take B complex too late in the day I don't sleep well. Anyhoo. -Sara. who REFUSES to miss our meeting with Mikey's teacher this afternoon, even though we missed OT becuase I thought it was at 1pm but it was at 11:15am. ARGH!
