Guest guest
I am my own worst enemy, take example and don't be like me, take care of your blood pressure, it is sign that shows your pain level. Off to take my blood pressure medicine, I have been shamed by Kaylene, and I needed it. This group will not let you get away with things. Thank you for caring. Bennie. (I am double shamed as I have been in the medical field for over thirty years and know better ) Bennie, I'm glad to be helpful. We both know that anyone who works in health care are the worst patients. I sent one of my nurses (Betty) to the ER one day, when she was ready to almost in cardiac arrest, and respiratory arrest. She told me she didn't feel well, and certainly looked like very sick. Her blood pressure was sky high, her pulse was irregular, and oxygen saturation was dropping. Betty pulled out about 10 pills from her purse that she was supposed to take regularly and took them. The ER staff thought I had lost my mind when I called and said I was sending one of my nurses. Anyway, we popped her on a stretcher/cart put an oxygen mask on her, and ran her down to the ER. She thanked me later, but could barely remember the incident later. So, the moral to the story, is take thy pills. For ages after the incident, I asked her each day if she had taken her medications. I told her I didn't want to be terrified again. Not to mention that fact that she was a dear friend. Kaylene
