TSH = 2.612

T3Uptake = 31 (24-39)

FT4 = 1.31 (.61-1.76)

FT3 = 193 (85-205)

Glucose = 116 (65-99)

Insulin = 7.5 (0-29.1)

Cortisol = 21.9 (3.1-22.4)

She is borderline DIabetic and should have an A1c done to know for sure. The TSH

is too high indicating HYPO and the T3 is high indicating low cortiosl I would

suggest the saliva labs for cortiosl as thta is conflicting wiht the blood

testing.

Val - Did you consider that she is on timed release t3? If so, would you still

suggest saliva cortisol?

Good brand may not be the same for everyone. Armour is a good brand, but

does not work for me.

Do you think it may be also because she should be on Armour to get that TSH

lower or are these results show only a possible adrenal issue?

cortisol?<<

Yes because her TSH is too high and the T3 and the TSH do not mesh.

Maybe I'm missing something. In an earlier post, I thought you said that t3 and

t4 together lower tsh and not t3 alone? The brainfog may be settling in.

You are saying that if on Synthroid, TSH will not be suppressed?

I thought you said in another email that you suspected T3 effected it more.

I cannot track it so I will forget about it for awhile.

Nope not saying that at all, but I htink T3 OR T4 will supress the TSH after

all what does T4 do but convert to T3?

I really do not know but others i have talked ot on T3 only have

supressed TSH and I had a supressed TSH on eith er Armour or Syncrap so

I think either one supresses it. We'll see whan I have labs as my last

TSH was .02 on Armour, and that was where it was most the years I was on

Syncrap.. though I was probably so hypo it affected pituitary output of

TSH to,. Which I have also read about.
