Guest guest Posted January 14, 2000 Report Share Posted January 14, 2000 Hi , Your pain under your breast bone could be caused by gallbladder problems. I had my gallbladder out a few months ago. Some people who have severe gallbladder attacks sometimes think they're having a heart attack because of where the pain is situated. You can also get pain up under your ribs or under your shoulder blades. Can't hurt to ask your doctor. They can do an ultrasound to determine if you have gallstones.
