Although we enjoy Off Topic (OT) posts and want to know what is

going on in your

lives outside of the plagio world, we need to eliminate forwarding

any jokes, poems, or questions unrelated to our children and medical

questions. We ask that simple questions that can be found by doing

a quick Internet search be left off the board.

What is nystagmus?

[low dose naltrexone] Off Topic Posts

I'm with on this one--I come here to read about LDN. It is easy enough to start your own group for any other purpose, and if members here feel the need to socialize why not start your own group? Or e-mail to each other privately. There are plenty of options.

-do we have any idea how many on this Board are taking LDN for RRMS, PPMS or SPMS? I just wondered if we had an idea whether there is some group that gets more benefit than the others.

I have SPMS, according to my doctor. My walking and balance are not better, but some of the other newer sympoms have really subsided, including what was a very annoying nystagmus. Has anyone else had an imporovent with eye problems?

HI! JOYCE, MY NAME IS ANITA. I FEEL AS YOU DO. I COME HERE TO READ ABOUT LDN, WHICH I AM TAKING 3.0 MG. I HAVE "CHRONIC PROGRESSIVE". WHICH LEVEL THAT IS, I DO NOT KNOW. I DO NOT HAVE A NEUROLOGIST. HAVEN'T HAD ONE IN ABOUT 15 YRS. I GUESS. BUT I AM TRYING TO FIND ONE HERE WHO WILL TAKE MY MED-I-CAL. I HATE THIS INSURANCE BUSINESS. I'M DOING THE BEST THAT I CAN. TAKE CARE. HAVE A BLESSED DAY. GOD BLESS

Too busy to feel that way. LOL. However, they're there... so it's not like there aren't other options. Even A Home Away from Home is another option, no?

Sure it is, I post there everyday. All of the message boards are slow, and have been lately. They have always been somewhat 'spurty' My 'Getting Better' forum is a ghost town lately. My opinion is people are getting sick of tired of being sick and tired. I cant think of any supplement, diet, anything that has worked, other than maybe helping a person feel somewhat better, above and beyond the MS. It seems like we've tried everything, from the normal to the bizarre, and still nothing works for everybody, or even MOST of everybody. LDN probably works for more people than anything else I've seen. But when you want to say something, I dont think you should have to go to another site to say it just because someone feels it's not professional. This is an open forum, for discussion and communication. I'm doing ok, you're doing ok, maybe everybody isnt doing ok, maybe posting some stupid comment here is a way for some people to communicate with other people. What's wrong with that? Sure this site is about LDN, but it's also about the people who use it. The rules say no 'blatant' off topic discussions, I would think those type of discussions would include types of things like sex, religion, politics, etc. Not about something stupid like the thread that people are getting so upset about. The thread was destined to die anyway, the only thing all of this created was stress, and I thought that's what we're trying to avoid.

I have learned so much about MS and LDN

and other treatments that work for people and I think it would be a shame not

to share these things. I don’t think anyone thinks there is only one

treatment, and obviously diet, flu vaccinations, etc are all important topics

to anyone on this site. Does anyone know if LDN helps epilepsy? I have a

friend that has two children with severe epilepsy—wondering if this would

help. Thanks. Conni
