Guest guest
Dear Crew, Thanks to those that provided feedback. He got his "hoarse" voice back the next day. The ENT thinks it must just be allergies, because a tumor's damage wouldn't correct that quickly. So we can only hope. But the tumor is there, so we watch. G-d forbid I can ever think it's just an allergy or another typical kid thing instead of a tumor somewhere. Thanks again Barbara
Guest guest
I know what you mean Barbara. Our kids don't have "normal" kid problems anymore it seems. Everything "may be related to NF2" - so we have to check everything out with a fine-toothed comb. had a stomach virus 2 weeks ago. My husband and I felt it was a virus and it would pass with a little time and a lot of fluids. However, our pediatrician made us go to the ER for a CT and thorough evaluation (by a doctor, mind you, that has no idea what NF2 is!!!). I'm sure my insurance company will always have a "warm, fuzzy" for us! What can we do, though? Gotta do what they say. (for the most part anyways!) Glad to hear Adam's voice is back.
