,

Hearing of Lori's improvement and recovery is wonderful news. One feeling

that Lori, and you, should NOT feel is guilt. If anyone in this group

leapfrogged more people on the way to a tx, it was me. Some days I still

have feelings of guilt, especially when someone like Shauna passes or

, who you may not have known, passes. As the days, and now years go

by, the feeling goes away - except when I talk about it :-). A lot of

people in this group helped me get through, not over, those feelings with

encouragement and genuine displays of joy and happiness that I was tx'd.

I knew, and they reminded me of, that the only thing I was guilty of was

following my drs orders. If you had a chance to read my post to

athan, I was tx'd because they thought I had cancer ( bile duct and/or

liver) and if I didn't get a tx, was at high risk of developing cancer in a

short amount of time. They appealed my status and I was moved up and tx'd

within a month. When the biopsies came back negative, I was almost

disappointed and frankly remorseful. I didn't want to post the news to the

group. I even asked some of my closest " advisors " and friends in the group

if I should post the news. They encouraged me to do so and more

importantly, and this may sound misplaced, allowed me to forgive myself.

Continued prayers for a speedy recovery and good health.

Darin
