Guest guest Posted October 6, 2010 Report Share Posted October 6, 2010 Candy I am sorry your daughter in law lost her mother. I just lost my dad a few months ago. He screamed and cried he was in so much pain when he was near the end. I would have rather he be unresponsive and not in pain. I love my family a lot but I don't want to suffer when I am dying. One of my biggest fears is that I will have even more pain than what I have now. I hope someone hits me over the head with a baseball bat if I ever scream like my dad. In this day and age it should be a crime to not give a dying person enough pain medicine. It's bad enough that we under treat those of us who are living. Again, my condolences to your family.
