Kaylene, my son who has a degree in computor science set me up with avast

antivirus. I haven't had a problem with it. One thing he told me is to be

careful about those messages that come up saying there is a virus. It looks

like part of microsoft and tells you to

start it to clean out the virus.

He said DON'T start it. It is a virus. If it keeps reappearing when you try to

close it, you have to shut down your computor. Wait 5 minutes and then reboot.

Take care and hugs, Tami

All,

Mc Afee has a list of viruses, malware, and other hoaxes. I have an

Apple and have ClamXav which scans my computer and places viruses in the trash

file and destroys them. I do not open e-mails from people I do not know or

strange subject lines. Most people have anti virus software to identify and

destroy the viruses. If not, you are open to all kinds of problems. Also back

up everything. That is almost imperative to do.
