We now have a file in the FILES section entitled ARMOUR vs.

NATURETHYROID vs. WESTHROID, etc. It will contain info on the exact

ingredients in each natural thyroid product. When gives me the

ingredients in the generic thyroid, I will be including that, as

well.

Also, when Bio-throid comes back on the market (if it does), I will

add that, plus any others as I get them. Bio-throid is the TRUE

hypoallergenic one!! It has nothing more that the thyroid powder and

cellulose.

Here's a link: http://tinyurl.com/ystdu

OR, you can go directly into the FILES on this site and see the file.

From my personal little experiment.... I was on 2 grain of Armour

Generic.. and had to take three tabs of the Nutri-meds to feel 'right'...

they are a bit less potent, I admit... but they are the only thyroid

glandular, without all kinds of herbs and supps and such added to 'boost'

thyroid function... available in the US without prescription.

They are the first thyroid that I found that was available without a

prescription that I could get without a credit card... and the plus of

being inside the US... I was desperate to find something, I'd been

without meds for about three years (I have no thyroid function - RAI - so

I was getting pretty bad)... and didn't have a credit card.. and was

terrified of my shipment getting stopped by customs if I ordered from

outside the country.. so Nutri-Meds was my choice... they allowed me to

order via mail, sending a money order. I was VERY pleased with their

customer service and used their porcine thyroid tablets for a full year..

then an offer was made so that I could get generic Armour out of Mexico,

purchased by a friend and then shipped up... at a much much better

price.. that was the only reason that I switched at the time...

They are sold over the counter without any comparisons in potency against

prescription grade glandulars. They are trying to supply product to those

that are unable to get thyroid meds anywhere else, for whatever reason,

and have to do all their labeling and promotion as a supplement to avoid

FDA jurisdiction... otherwise they would also have to require a

prescription.

her to find thyroid when there was none available elsewhere....*

No doubt they did save you! Nutri-Meds is a good product to have

around for emergencies or when other alternatives are slow to arrive
