Hi ,

So sorry to hear about your experience with IVF.

Not sure if I've got what you've written straight, but what you were

told is right. When you're trying to get pregnant & to maintain the

pregnancy it is vital to continue taking all your thyroid meds and

not to stop them. Most women actually need an increase in meds

during pregnancy. The reason the lady in the book had so many

miscarriages is that she discontinued her thyroid meds. Hope this

makes sense, I've been looking into this loads & read all about it on

Shomon's website. Apparently a TSH of 0.9 is the level most

normal pregnant women are at.

Hypothyroidism, the Unsuspected Illness... multiple miscarriages

and one particular lady who when taking her thyroid meds, carried her

babies (3 out of 7). She would start to feel better, then stop the

thyroid drugs.

NOT be taking her thyroid drugs.
