What I really want to say is that educating yourself about BPD is so powerful. If your learning style includes learning by reading, your can gain what would take months and months of therapy by reading these books. I hope your 16 year old daughter is a joy to you. It will help. I have 4 other kids (close in age to my 15 your old daughter) and I am so grateful for them.
