Guest guest
Hi Marcy, I used Cortizone kids it's 0.5% instead or 1%. You have to apply a very thin layer. It does work!! It says it for kids 2 and over but my ped said it was ok to use it. You can read about it here. http://www.pfizer.com/do/counter/firstaid/mn_cortizone_kids.html I hope 's mark goes away soon! --- In Plagiocephaly , " cowtroy8 " <cowtroy8@a...> wrote: > has a mark that the clinician at CT said I should put > hydrocortizone cream on. Guest guest
I never read the label either. I figure maybe they are just concerned small infants will get a hold of it and try to swollow some. Guest guest
There shouldn't be a problem with the 1% as long as you don't use it continuously for a long period of time and only apply a small amount. My son has a stronger prescription than that for his eczema. Connor (PPO helmet grad 8/04, tort) > has a mark that the clinician at CT said I should put > hydrocortizone cream on. Guest guest
Hi. I used hydrocortizone (1%) on my son when he was just a couple months old, for baby zits. He was just fine. Just rub it in well so that can't get in his eyes. I haven't followed every e-mail because there are so many, but are you going to CT in Paramus? I work up the street on Century Road, and I just got word today that our insurance approved the helmet and he'll be casted there on September 22. Praise God! Take care, and God Bless. --- In Plagiocephaly , " cowtroy8 " <cowtroy8@a...> wrote: > has a mark that the clinician at CT said I should put > hydrocortizone cream on. Guest guest
Yes, I am at the Paramus CT. That is great that your insurance is paying. I am not sure about mine yet. I am paying each week, but am hoping that they will pay at the end. Good luck with your casting on Sept. 22. > > has a mark that the clinician at CT said I should put > > hydrocortizone cream on.
