Guest guest
Dr. Rhea is in that area. -- New here (long) Hello, my name is Clarissa and I've been lurking for a couple of weeks. I'm trying to get myself sorted out and of course its proving harder than I thought it would be. I started out on Armour and have a dr that is good for the thyroid trouble. After I hit 3 grains, things started to go downhill really quickly. Bloodwork on 3 gr showed hardly any improvement. So, time to increase again and I started Isocort around this time too due to adrenal fatigue symptoms. 3.5 gr was only a minor improvement but I was still crashing in the middle of the afternoon. Dr wanted me on 5 gr but I talked him into 4 gr. 4 gr...no improvement at all. 4.5 gr, not a lot of improvement. Went ahead and let the dr prescribe 5 gr and my body absolutely flipped out. My heart rate went up to 112 and to 120 at times, a bit of nervous energy, no other hyper symptoms. Dropped to 3.75 gr...heart rate still high. Dropped to 2.5 gr, heart rate still high. Dropped to 1.75 gr, same thing. Took a couple days off taking Armour and just took the Isocort. Raised to 1 gr for a week, things went okay. Raised to 1.5, still okay. Raised to 2 gr, feeling better but I can only handle .5 gr without my heart rate raising. So as of now, I'm on Isocort, 2 gr Armour and having to stress dose every day. It was suggested to me to move to HC and I was hesitant about that but with having to stress dose every day....it would make more sense, right? The dr I'm seeing, well, he's only good for thyroid trouble and won't treat the adrenals. Does anyone know of a dr in the Dallas, TX area that treats adrenal fatigue and/or any reliable sources for HC? Honestly, I'm about done with dr's. My PCP kept me hypo for an entire year after I had an allergic reaction to Synthroid and then all of a sudden my labs were " normal " . I'd really LOVE to be able to sleep at night again but I don't see that happening until I can get the adrenal fatigue fully addressed and on my optimal dose of Armour. Any success stories on finally being able to sleep again?? I've been feeling far better than I felt taking Armour alone or Isocort alone. The combination seems to be what my body needs and I've even lost a couple of pounds. I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from all of you. Sincerely, Clarissa

Guest guest
I don't know it. I am supposed to call him for an appointment for summer, but I will have to do a search to find him. He is known for allergy assessment and toxic or sick building syndrome and assessment and treatment of autoimmune diseases. I have not done a search yet. -- New here (long) > > Hello, my name is Clarissa and I've been lurking for a couple of > weeks.
