Janet... don't forget part of the problem with late day adrenals dumps is

that due to the fatigue the adrenals are not able to release in the

morning in answer to the normal morning call... they work like crazy to

produce enough to answer that call and that late day dump is when the

finally have enough to release.... by adding the proper adrenal support

in the morning hours to stifle that morning call.. the adrenals don't

have to fight to produce to comply and you stop getting that late day

dump...

Might want to ponder on that... I've been adding morning support for just

over a year... and no more of that late day surge/second wind stuff late

and night... I now am alert and functional from the second I get out of

bed, due to proper sleep... and function normally all day long... with

the normal late day wind down and being able to relax and fall asleep on

time.... no more laying in bad for hours to sleep... no more waking in a

panic at 2 am.....

Dear ,

I found what you said about the cortisol dumping at night... very

interesting. When I had an adrenal profile done on a graph form, DHEA was

very low in the morning, rose a little in the after noon, down in the

eveneing .. and then at midnite .. it suddenly rose straight up in the air

and shot off the page!!

No wonder I start to come to life and start cooking, eating, speeding up and

can't sleep.

The cortisol started off low (normal under 5 mmol/L) at 2.5....,, within

normal range at 12 md and 4pm ... but slightly elevated at midnight.

I take

3 gr. Armour,

25 mg. of DHEA,

30 mg of Pregnenolone,

7.5 mg prednisolone,

and the following animal glandulars by Nutri ltd.

Pit-lyph,

Hypothal-lyph.

I have tried to take the Adreno-lyph80 in the past but it made me kind of

anxious and weird... so have cut one in 4 pieces and am trying a more gentle

approach.

My question is this, do you think I am doing enough for adrenal support, is

there anything else I could be doing... I don't feel too bad, I take

everything before about 2pm... a bit tired in the evenings..

Its hard to tell totally how I am because I a living with untreated Chronic

Lyme as well and am waiting to see specialist on the 5th of May.

Any comments you or anybody else may care to make about the adrenal support

will be welcomed... I have send off my adrenal profile (saliva) this week so

should get an update on whats happening .. the 'inside story' soon.

I hope to also get the thyroid panel done as well next week... sounds like

the ferritin is also a good idea to get checked too..

Doesn't it just whack you upside the head when it starts making sense?

When you understand why you are acting so much different then you used

to, or the other folks around you?

Once you are able to see, and understand, what your body is telling

you... then you can figure out what needs to be done to fix it.... our

bodies know what is wrong.. and what they need.. we just aren't able to

understand... Heck, look at the docs... health care is their business and

they do it everyday, train for years to do it... and they can't

understand the body anymore.... But once we learn, once we understand..

then we can fix it... for many, many of us... we have to what to do for

OUR body what it needs to allow it to function as it should... supplement

what is missing. Fill in for periods of time that the body needs an

assist.. and give it the tools that it needs to do it's job....

It's all soo simple... once that little switch in your brain flips and it

makes sense to you... That's why it's so important that we share here...

you'll never know what you might say that will flip the switch of

understanding in someone's head... and let them SEE what they need to

work on.....

Lets wait and see what your test results show... how they've changed

since your last one... that will give a clue as to how your current

dosing is working for you....
