Guest guest
I am deffo going to try the coconut oil, thanks for all the info & links ladies. My body is quite clear about what it needs - when I was hyper I used to crave beetroot; and now, surprise surprise, I crave coconut. Unfortunately I've been eating it in the form of a chocolate bar - Bounty! 2 today, whoops... I have an article that mentions lipids somewhere, I'll dig it out... Guest guest
chuckle, for me when I am craving coconut I go for the coconut cream pie, without the crust...and I usually add more coconut than the recipe calls for, chuckle <EG> I'm thinking of getting a jar of this good tasting coconut oil to subsitite for the " pie " ...less sugar, but still not the texture of the actual coconut meat...hummm going to have to think on this one... Gossimer Its a good thing I'm using spell checker when I type these comments...my carpal tunnel is acting up and my right hand is acting up today...keep switching letters today...grumble... > I am deffo going to try the coconut oil, thanks for all the info & > links ladies. > My body is quite clear about what it needs - when I was hyper I used > to crave beetroot; and now, surprise surprise, I crave coconut. > Unfortunately I've been eating it in the form of a chocolate bar - > Bounty! 2 today, whoops... > I have an article that mentions lipids somewhere, I'll dig it out... > Fee x x x x
Guest guest
I get organic dessicated coconut from my food coop in 15 lb boxes or bags. We have a Vita Mix (best money I ever spent) and almost every day I make a smoothie in which I ALWAYS put about 1 cup of coconut in it. The smoothie gets shared with whoever in the family is around. So we get plenty of coconut. It's great fibre for constipation as well. Hugs, Carol B (who hasn't kept up with this group unfortunately)
Guest guest
Gossimer.... I've been wondering about doing crustless cream pies myself.... you've got me a bit closer to give it a try!!! hehehehe About your CTS.... jump into google and do a search on a shareware program called fitwork (DOT) .. it's got three exercises in the free version.. that's the one that I use.. it runs on your computer and reminds you to do your stretches and breathing breaks... to keep the tendons lubricated and reduce the problems of repetitive stress..... Great program.. I wish I had the bucks to get the full version... that one covers most all of the body.. exercises that you do in just a couple of minutes while sitting at your desk at work to improve circulation and breathing and such......
